We Gather Together Thanksgiving Decorated Cookie Collection

The best part of the Thanksgiving holiday (besides the giving thanks to God part!) is gathering together with family and showing gratitude for all the things we are blessed with. I always immediately think of the hymn "We Gather Together". I have sweet memories from my childhood of Thanksgiving Day preparations with my dad and then the time for the family to gather for the day and enjoy each other (and lots of food.....of course 😳).

Here's a collection of cookies to express my heartfelt gratitude and thanks to God for all He does and that He allows me to express myself here on this blog. What a privilege it is to carry out His purposes each day of my life.

Thank you for "gathering" here on a regular basis and supporting my work and mission for Him. ❤️

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Pedestal Birthday Cake Decorated Cookies (Tutorial)

I love pedestal cake cookies.....and I found a new favorite cutter to make some cute ones.

Honey Jar Decorated Cookie (Tutorial)

Harvest time brings the opportunity for jars of yummy-ness......honey, jelly, jam, and more!
And the cute containers make the delicious treat even more special.

Start with a container or jar-shaped cookie. There's tons of choices of mason jar cutters and the like out there. The site where I purchased the honey jar is not available right now to share a link. :(

You'll also need a mini plaque cutter to create a cute tag cookie that you can tie onto your jar.  Be sure to cut out a hole in the top using a straw.

Harvest time cuteness....coming right up!

Pumpkin Latte Decorated Cookies (Tutorial)

Pumpkin lattes.......they are all the rage during this harvest season.
I have family members that are crazy about them.

Here's a YouTube video to show the entire process to make pumpkin latte cookies.

Using a cookie cutter with a mug shape that includes whipped cream piled on top (see links below), it's fairly easy to decorate a cookie up for the pumpkin latte season.

The video shares all the details.....first the mug body, then the handle, then the layers of "whipped cream" with a sprinkle of actual cinnamon on top. :)
And be sure to include either a cute pumpkin cookie on the front of the mug, or cut a mini pumpkin shape into partially dried glaze and then decorate the shape with piped glaze.

Here's some potential mug cutters to use:

Apple Harvest 2017 Decorated Cookie Collection

I love every season, but autumn definitely has a special place in my heart.
I think it is because of the rustic-look that fits right in to that particular season.

Obviously I'm gearing up for the season with apples......and all the rustic-ness of this set has me super excited!

Apples, apples, apples. 🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏
