YES……that is a great definition of autumn! It brings such joy and happiness.

Here’s another cookie collection with a message….

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Allison's Llama Party Decorated Cookies

DSC02036.jpg

We’ll do anything for our kids, right?

My daughter works at a bank…..and she’d bought some llama stuffed animals for her and her co-workers to have at their teller desks. She mentioned I decorated cookies to those co-workers and they were interested in llama cookies. SO………. I decorated llama cookies…..something I NEVER thought I’d do. :)

All of the stuffed llamas have been named, so I put names on the corresponding colored llamas.

The llama party was a big success and everyone had an awesome time. (Aren’t those tiny birthday hats on the llamas ADORABLE?)

💗💙💜

Autumn Decorated Cookie Collection 2019

Autumn…..LOVE IT!

So much about it can be emulated in cookies. I always lean toward the rustic side.

And as it’s become my habit, I wanted to use this set to remind me of truth.

“To everything there is a season” Ecclesiastes 3:1.

Thank you God for all the seasons…..each year…..and in our lives…

Apple Harvest Decorated Cookie Collection

It’s that season again. I think fall and winter are definitely my most favorite seasons.

I can’t help but create lots of autumn cookies because I love the theme so much. There’s just something about apples that brings a smile…..I guess because it is in so many yummy desserts and provides such a marvelous autumn-y taste.

It’s been one year since my cancer diagnosis. It’s crazy to think of all the things that have happened in these last 12 months. I can remember not being able to imagine what I’d be doing in one year from my diagnosis.

And look at me now…..still doing what I love. I’m super grateful to God that I get to continue this cookie decorating journey. Things have definitely changed. I’m kind of an island since my diagnosis…..no longer a part of the general cookie community, but certainly continuing to spread a message with cookies. :)

Happy Harvest everyone!

Happy Camper Decorated Cookie Collection

Don’t worry….be happy. Here’s another another set of cookies with a message. :)

Confession: I hate camping! I went on exactly TWO camping trips when my kids were little (and this was probably the biggest mistake, to take babies and toddlers!)…..and hated every minute of it. I’m an inside girl who likes cleanliness and order.

So it’s a stretch for me to be happy when I’m camping. Which is exactly the point……sometimes we must do what we REALLY don’t want to do (i.e. battle cancer)…..and rather than worry, we can be happy. Each day is a gift, no matter if it is in a soggy tent with thunderstorms, or it is safe and warm (and CLEAN) in our own house.

I have certainly not mastered this message……thus the cookie collection to remind myself often.

Don’t worry…..be a HAPPY camper! ❤️
