THANKFUL for YOU Decorated Cookie Collection

With each new set of cookies that I created this summer, I wondered which one would be my last set of cookies. I created this one in particular in anticipation of my final set and unknowingly, it was indeed the last time I decorated cookies. 😢

As I wrap up my cookie decorating endeavor, I wanted to say a huge “thank you” to you. It has been an awesome ride and I’ve enjoyed the journey. The twists and turns of life are often unexpected and sometimes undesirable, but we learn to release the things that we’ve held dear to embrace the next chapter.

This set of “THANKFUL” cookies is for YOU. Yes, YOU. I wanted to be sure that you know how grateful I am for you in my life. I would not be where I am today if not for your love, prayers, encouragement, and support. I count it JOY to have been connected to you and lived life with you…..even if it is “only” through cookie decorating.

I don’t know what the future holds, but I know that it is important to be thankful for what I DO have. Right now, I have today and the opportunity to make it count. And I have a lifetime of memories of so many that I’ve gotten to connect with in a multitude of ways and on a number of different levels. It’s all so important for TODAY.

Taking time to count our blessings gives us the opportunity to see all the good in our lives. Sometimes it seems we have to dig for it…..but IT IS THERE! And finding that avalanche of goodness helps minimize those things that try to steal our joy, peace, and contentment.

For now, I just wanted to say that I love you and
am eternally grateful to God for putting us together.
YOU are such a blessing to me.
Thank you!

💜🙏🏻😘
