Red Gold Black Valentines Cookie Collection 2015

Fireplace Christmas Cookie Scene

This is one of those cookie collections that was dreamed about......long before it became a reality.

The Christmas tree next to a blazing fireplace is one of those iconic symbols of
the beautiful season of Christmas.

My dream of creating the whole scene in cookies has finally been fulfilled.

I wish you warm, sweet moments and memories this Christmas season.

Bows N Frills Birthday Cookie Collection

When I was asked to do a little girl's 2nd birthday cookies for her party......
and told to make it as girly as possible,
I got super excited. :)

Lots of PINK, bows, flowers, polka-dots, and hearts.......F-U-N!

Textured Easter Egg Cookies (Tutorial)

You'll need:

* Egg-Shaped Cookies
* Pastel Colored 10-Second Glaze
* White 10-Second Glaze

Outline and flood the top and bottom of the egg leaving a space for the ribbon.

Allow the glaze to dry for at least 2 hours.
This is the trickiest part.....TIMING.
If you lay the texture mat on the glaze too soon,
it sticks to the mat and takes a lot longer to dry enough to re-texture.

After the glaze has dried firm.....two hours, maybe more like 2 1/2 hours if your glaze is thicker....
lay the texture mat over the cookie and press the mat into the glaze gently.

As you can see, I did not have ideal results ever time.
Sometimes the glaze would be less dry in some areas than others.
But I think it is worth continuing to experiment with this to get that textured look.

Allow the cookies to dry several more hours or overnight.

Add the ribbon band to the inside of the egg.
Allow to dry for an hour or so.
Then add the bow to the top of the ribbon.
I always refer back to Ali Bee's Bakeshop's awesome video on making bows.
