Nothing much new.....

I'm sad to say I don't have anything new and exciting to show you. I've been making a lot of the "same ole" things because that is what people are asking for. So even though I baked over 90 cookies this week.....there's nothing real impressive to show you.

First....here's a pic from last weekend when I'd finished 90+ cookies and had gotten them all ready to take to church Sunday. :-) It was LOTS of cookies.

Since there were so many and my husband says I'd "saturated the market", it took us all week to distribute this batch. In fact, I still have a few "old cookies" left. Hmmmm.......I think I'm going to need to slow down on the pre-made cookies.

Thankfully, I've been doing several orders and made quite a bit of money that way. My total thus far for the Ukraine missions trip is $327!! Hurray.

Here's some pics of the cookies I did on Thursday.
My crosses are not very exciting. I tried to add flowers, etc. to one, and it just didn't look/feel right. So I opted for simple dots on the top.

I'm not extremely excited about how my eggs are turning out either. I've been trying to use the corn syrup icing only....and it really limits how you can embellish after the base coat. I guess I need to make some Sweet Annie's to add some fun dimension to my eggs.

Here's a new chick/duckling cutter. These turned out cute. :-)

I had an order for 36 Easter baskets.....so I decided to try some white baskets too. I used colored markers to add the basket lines and they turned out OK.
I found some larger confetti sprinkles for the "eggs". :-)

Here's the brown baskets. I like these much better.

Finally.....here's a pic of my Easter assortment. I love the little lambies and sitting bunnies so much. :-))))))))

I've got several orders coming up this next week......so I'll be busy. There probably won't be much to show since it is all repeats of things I've done before.
Oh.....and I got some new fabulous cutters from Ecrandal Originals. They are pretty pricey.....but such quality handmade cutters that are sturdy and beautiful. I got a butterfly, bee, flower, and tulip that I'm anxious to try out. (Maybe this week after I get all the Easter cookies done....)
