Apple Deliciousness Cookie Collection

If you haven't noticed yet.......
when I grab onto a theme.....I RUN with it. haha

I think that is one of my most favorite things to do with cookies.
I love picking a theme......planning a bunch of different shapes to compliment each other......
and then having a BLAST executing the plan.

So here we go again.
This time it's A-P-P-L-E-S.
FUN stuff.

And this is just another chance to wish you a very happy harvest time. :)
(Today is is in the upper 50s in Missouri and ABSOLUTELY gorgeous outside. LOVIN' it!)

"Apple Spiced" Donut & Muffin Cookies (Tutorial)

Apple Cider Jug Cookies....a fun way to use SugarBelle's new Cookie Jar Cutter. :)
And how about those mugs of apple cider with whipped cream......another fun cutter I just acquired. :)

Here's a new plaque cutter I absolutely LOVE!

I can't tell you happy I am to do something I love so much.

I am beyond blessed. ♥

"Apple Spiced" Donut & Muffin Cookies (Tutorial)

To give donut and muffin cookies an "apple-spiced"-look,
make a mixture of coconut sugar, brown sanding sugar, and white sanding sugar.

For the donut cookies, cut out a large circle and then cut out the middle with a smaller circle cutter.

Outline and flood the cookie with brown/tan 10-second glaze.
While it is wet, sprinkle the sugar mixture over the glaze.
Shake off excess and allow it to dry overnight.

For the muffin cookies, decorate the wrapper portion of the muffin as desired.
(Here's the cupcake wrapper tutorial used on the muffin cookies below.)
Allow it to dry overnight.

Outline and flood the top portion with brown/tan 10-second glaze.
While it is wet, sprinkle the sugar mixture over the glaze.
Shake off excess and allow it to dry overnight.

One step better would be to make REAL apple spice flavored cookies.
Mmmmmmm........ :)
