Personal Side
It's been a hard week.
I know you've all been there.
I started with a cold Sunday night.......
and the loss of energy and the overall "yuck" feeling
has been in the driver's seat the entire week. :(
I had so much to do this week.
You'll find out why soon...... hint hint
but I had to push myself every step of the way.
And as for the cookies I did......
I made a few really special ones and then pulled at the markers and finished the rest. ;)
I didn't take many Instagram photos this week
since I was working on a secret project that I couldn't reveal in such a public place.
But I promise to get back in the swing of things this next week.
I have two fun projects to do then,
and can't wait to share the process with you.
Today (Saturday) is an exciting day for our family.
I'll share as soon as all the secrets are out of the bag.

It was a lazy rainy Sunday last weekend.
Sitting on the porch was such a nice way to spend the afternoon.
Cookie clean-up......the most un-favorite part. haha
This week I made almond milk for the first time.
It was a good experience.
Sometimes color palettes are really hard.
For my surprise project, I really struggled with which colors to include.
These are the ones i ended up with.
Purple, red, gold, & black.......interesting. :)
The first day of decorating......I just had NO energy,
so I outlined and flooded the cookies.....and left the rest for later.
It makes me sad when cookie decorating becomes a chore instead of a joy.....
Hopefully next week will be a brighter place. :)
