I had an order for star cookies with names on them. I was able to use gold luster dust and disco dust. I wish the photo did them justice.
For a great video on applying luster dust, go here. I use almond extract instead of vodka to apply the luster dust. Then I used that same wet brush to add the disco dust randomly to the stars. You could also add the disco dust dry.
I'm finally baking again today......so we'll have some more cookies and tutorials coming up. My house is nice and clean and I'm feeling ambitious again. I've got lots of spring ideas. Can't wait!
