Personal Side

When this is posted.....Christmas Day will have just passed,
but right now it is Christmas Eve and there is much anticipation in the air.

Actually, my family will start celebrating tonight (Friday night) through Sunday.
I've agreed to give up the actual holiday so my kids can go to their in-laws, etc......
if they will give me a few days of non-stop family time. :)
I love it!
Plus, I get to celebrate my birthday with my whole family here on Saturday.
That makes my birthday extra special.

We have lots of plans for the weekend.
The girls and I are going to each make a scarf with that arm-knitting technique I tried out last week.
Then we'll have some great food, open gifts, sing, play games,
and have our family photos made on Sunday.
The perfect weekend.

Instagram photos for this week:

Have a Happy Ginger-y Friday.......only 6 days until Christmas!

Excited! Just made my first arm-knitting scarf.
It took a little more than 1 hour.....was supposed to take 30 min.
But not too shabby for my first attempt.

Happy Saturday!

This week I made some cookies for going
"over the river and through the woods" to MeeMaw's house.
We're on our way right now.

And now the holiday festivities begin.....
I wish you all a joyous Christmas celebration!

It's the most wonderful time of the year.

MERRY Christmas! (2014)

Wishing you all a very M-E-R-R-Y Christmas!

"An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them,
and they were terrified.    But the angel said to them,
“Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord."

Luke 2:9-11
