This video features back to school cookies. These designs will allow me to show you all kinds of techniques and tips I use with glaze icing. The intent is not to show you how to copy the designs (although you certainly have the permission to do so), but rather for you to glean all kinds of new information that you can incorporate in your decorating to make it your own.

Supplies and tools used in this class are listed below.

Color gels used to color glaze (in general):
Americolor (more sizes found elsewhere on site)

Scribe tool
2 in 1 tool (aka: boo-boo stick)


Pen Blade for hand cutting cookies
Brown marker for marking references on baked cookie dough

Sugar Art Elite Dusts (for pencil tip surface): 1) Golden Leaf & 2) Dogwood 3) Americolor Bright White

#4 tip for holes in notepad

Cake Tester

Embossing Letters for A, B, & C cookies

For crayon black lines: Rainbow Dust dual-sided marker - black & Americolor Marker – Black 

For notepad lines: pink 2 sided Rainbow dust marker & blue 2-sided Rainbow dust marker

For silver spiral wires on notepad: TMP Silver dust or Sugar Art Sterling Pearl - Nu Silver

For Banana: Sugar Art Elite Dusts: 1) Golden Leaf 2) Dogwood 3) Chestnut & 4) Americolor Bright White

For crayon “wrappers”: Sugar Art Sterling Pearl Brilliant Sparkle
