Autumn in the Country Cookie Collection

I think this is my favorite set of autumn cookies so far this season.
There's something about the grouping and colors that just delights my heart.

I hope you are enjoying the season. :)

I love how this set turned out.....beyond my expectations. ♥

Fence cookie (far right) done using this plaque cutter from PlasticsinPrint.

Favorites for sure!
Both cookies done using SugarBelle's school bus cutter.

Sunflower in a Mason Jar Cookie (Tutorial)

To make the cookie shape, add a tear drop shape to the top of the mason jar cookie.

Starting with the flower center, outline and flood a circle with brown 10-second glaze
in the middle of the tear drop shape.

Cover the wet glaze with brown sanding sugar and shake off excess.

Outline the jar shape with white 10-second glaze.
Add a stem line within the jar in green 10-second glaze.

After it has dried for about 10-15 minutes, flood the entire jar with white 10-second glaze.

Allow the cookie to dry for a couple of hours (bleeding happens more with white glaze).
Outline and flood the sunflower petals in gold 10-second glaze.

Add accent lines to the jar with white 10-second glaze using a 1.5 PME tip.

Allow the cookie to dry overnight.

With a tiny amount of sky blue gel mixed with bright white gel and some almond extract,
add some brush strokes all around the jar to give it that "glassy-look".

Live a Life of Love Cookie Collection

I did these cookies around Valentines Day and am just now showing them to you. :)
Sometimes things get pushed to the side.....
but since these aren't too "valentines-y" I decided I could share them in J-U-L-Y.
