A few months back I purchased this gorgeous door wreath from Chatsworth Ranch Company.

Maytte, the owner of Chatsworth Ranch Company, contacted me about

making cookies for a upcoming company party.

Even though I'd never attempted burlap-looped door wreath cookies,

I jumped at the chance to make some cookies that emulated Maytte's beautiful work.

Maytte asked me to create her four most popular wreath designs.

I also attempted the Chatsworth Ranch Company logo.

Even though I had challenging and doubting moments in the decorating session,

the cookies were wildly praised and received with joy.

This makes a cookie decorator very very happy. :)

Here is a mixture of my photos of the cookies,

as well as Maytte's beautifully staged photos with her fabulous wreaths.

She used these set ups for her company party.

Personal Side

Things have settled down here and this week improved over last.

I was able to do cookies this last weekend, and that is always a good thing. :)

Big news....CookieCrazie is getting a complete makeover.

The site is coming together.....and hopefully very soon, you will see a whole new look.

I love that it is very visual......full of cookie photos.

That has been my desire for many months now.....to have a site where those who just wanted to look at the different cookie designs could come and take a peek without having to see lots of tutorials.

It will finally be a reality.

The blog will still be featured on the site, but there will be tons of photos all in the photo gallery

to just go look at all the different cookie collections.

I can't wait for you, my faithful readers, to see it!

Personal Side

It's been a series of ups and downs this week.

Sometimes life is hard.

These last few days have been filled with difficult stuff.

But by the grace of God.....we will carry on with joy.

This last weekend I worked on Thanksgiving cookies.

You know me.....gotta keep ahead.

It was fun to do some unique shapes and sets.

I really enjoyed getting back into decorating.

I've missed it a ton.

This weekend I'm moving on to the next holiday after Thanksgiving.

It's crazy to be making them in September, but what's new?

I'm needing to get ahead for multiple reasons.

There's lots coming up in the next few weeks/months.

If I have everything for the blog solid through the end of the year,

it will allow me the freedom to accomplish planning and implementation of a ton of other projects.

Come on fall weather.....we're still waiting for you! :)
