Fathers Day Collared Dress Shirt Cookie (Tutorial)

Believe it or not..... Fathers Day happens in just 3 weeks!
And Dad needs some special cookies to celebrate all he is in our lives.

How about a collared dress shirt cookie?

To make this cookie more dimensional, form a collar with cookie dough
around the top of a tall rectangle shape,  of which the top corners had been snipped off.

The 3D collar makes it much easier to add the customized texture on the shirt.

Outline and flood the entire cookie in white glaze.

After at least 30 min, add an outline around the collar and a line down the middle.

Carefully flood the collar to give it a puffier look.
Be careful not to add too much glaze as it will overflow.

Allow the cookie to dry for a total of 4 hours before imprinting a message over the mid-section.
These letter presses were used to add the "Happy Fathers Day" greeting.

Dry overnight.
Brush on dry black color dust to the neck area of the shirt
and your-color-of-choice dust to the rest of the shirt to give it some color.
