I had the flu in November/December and stayed close to the tissues for weeks.
I had purchased some special tissues with holidays prints on the box.
The box with the gingerbread cookies were my favorites........
so I gazed at them (and used them!) more often than I thought possible.
And thus, an idea was born.
Why not make some cookies similar to those on the box?
I had never used the six-sided star cutter for a snowflake before.......
but I've found that it is my FAVORITE shape for a snowflake pattern.

Never underestimate the source of cookie ideas.......
it can be literally right under your nose. haha
