Happy Birthday America!

Yippee...... I was able to have one last big "play day" with cookies this week. I had a patriotic order to fill, so I was planning on making additional patriotic cookies. I looked at lots of my favorite patriotic from others and came up with some fun stuff. :-) I'm getting in my cookie fix before I leave in EIGHT days. (Can you believe it is almost here?!)

Some country patriotic hearts.....

I've done all of these at Memorial Day, but I knew they would be popular for the Fourth.

I hand cut these USAs using a template I made. My inspiration came from Amifsud.

These cool fireworks hearts were inspired by my good friend, Cindy M.

I love these "postage stamp" type flags inspired by Amifsud.

Hee hee.....red white and blue ladybugs......love them!

Patriotic 'pillars. :-)))))

Patchwork patriotic stars and hearts. I did a similar thing at Valentines Day, so I thought I'd try it with red, white, and blue. :-)

I love this style of balloon! My inspiration came from Amifsud (can you tell I LOVE here work?!).

I love how all of them look together. Doesn't it make you want to stand up and salute? lol I wish I could add music to my blog. You can be sure God Bless America would be playing. :-)

Next week I'm making some ocokies for my Ukraine mission team and then bunches and bunches of little flowers to share with the Ukranians I meet. :-) I can't wait. That will be all the cookies from me.....probably for the summer. :-( We'll see. When I come back from my trip (July 25), I'll need a bit of recovery time.....and then I've got a long list of things to accomplish before my foot surgery on August 11. But you can be sure that if it is possible to fit in a batch or two of cookies, I will be doing it. ;-)

Happy Independence Day to America!
