Spring JOY Decorated Cookie Collection

Spring……what joy it brings.

Continuing on my quest of creating cookie themes promoting what is true, pure, right, lovely, & excellent (Phillipians 4:8), here is the Spring JOY collection.

It was really fun to pick out aspects of spring that bring such joy. Don’t you just love the idea of new life, flowers, growth, and gorgeous colors after the winter?

As we enter into this new season of life…..
HAPPY SPRING!
💗💜💛💚💙

Bird Egg Decorated Cookies (Tutorial)

Bird egg cookies are really simple.
I debated on whether or not they were too simple to include in a blog tutorial.
But some of my readers request simple cookies, so here it is.

Use a mini egg cutter like this one to cut the cookies.
Outline and flood the cookies with white glaze.
Allow the cookies to dry overnight.

Rub some blue forget-me-not dust onto random spots of each egg with a cotton swab.
Add speckles to the eggs using Sugarbelle's template markers.

Personal Side

Being the crazie I am......I finished my patriotic cookies this week.
Yes.....I'm talking about cookies for Fourth of July! haha
But then, next month I'm off to Ukraine for our annual trip and
when I get back, it will suddenly be June.
So I didn't want to take any chances that I not get some patriotic cookies ready for the blog.
It's one of my favorite themes of the year.

And then.....I'm gearing up for my local cookie decorating class in just TWO weeks!
Wow. Where is the time going?
(This is a common question I have.)
I'm so excited about teaching this class.
It is kind of my trial run before the pre-CookieCon classes in September.

Good news.....
I asked Karen Summers about a discount code for www.karenscookies.net
because I'm getting ready to order supplies for the upcoming class on April 25.
She made up a code just for CookieCrazie readers. YEAH!
So hurry on over to her website and use the code "cookiecrazie15" to get your 15% discount!
The offer is good through May 8.
Thank you, Karen!

Happy Saturday!

Happy Resurrection Day!
...The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid,
for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.
He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.
Matthew 28:5-6

Happy Tuesday!

I peek back at last year's 3D daffodils. #tbt #throwback
