CookieCrazie's Week in Review

Personal Side
There was lots of Christmas prep done this week.
There was lots of Christmas prep done this week.
I'm about 98% done with Christmas shopping.
Now I just need to wrap.
And I've still got to make the meal plans for both Christmas and wedding weekends.
But I'm feeling like things are falling into place.
I made some SUPER fun cookies this week.....photo session today.
Next week is wedding cookies.....200 of them.
They will be both simple and small.
My goal is to get them baked on Sunday and finished decorating by Tuesday/Wednesday.
We are leaving for out of town on Saturday as soon as I get off work......
so I've got to get them done early enough to be able to bag and seal them before we leave.
Isn't it funny how our lives revolve around the cookies? haha
My son, Keith, just arrived home from college last night.
It is so wonderful to have him home!
Things are going to start getting crazy now......
all three of my college students have finished up their semesters.....
Christmas celebrating starts next weekend for us.
And then.......the wedding week.
We'll have at least 14 people staying here.
It should be interesting.......but I'm SO looking forward to all of it.
I can always crash once everyone is gone, right? ;)
Instagram photos for this week:
Fun day shopping with Allison on Main Street in St Charles. :)
The sparkly ones are my favorites. :)
BRP Ornament Box
It was a happy morning. I LOVE these two stores. :)
A favorite boy of mine has a birthday fast approaching.
Time to make Double Chocolate Chip cookies.....his favorite. :)
How does this happen? My cookie cutter collection keeps multiplying so that I need more storage. Hmmmm....Me thinks there's something fishy going on here. ;)
Latest construction project. :)

Your Christmas cookies are just superb - I can't pick a favourite, they are so original and I love the colours . Can't wait to see what you're dreaming up for the wedding. I'll be back to spy on you!
I love your blog but have to throw in a question. Is there any way you might want to go back to your original way of postng where the viewer can go back and just roll down and see all your posts from the last week. I'm not a fan of the little square that you click on.....I've been away for awhile and find this new way very time consuming so I just give up.
You make me smile, Michelle. :) ♥
Hi Adelle. I don't know if it is something you have set on your blogger.....but my posts still come up by just scrolling down (at least on my PC). When I open my blog......I see a string of three blog posts per page......no clicking required to read them in entirety. If I want to move on to the next three posts, I have to click on the "Older Posts" button at the bottom of the page. I'm sorry I don't know how to help you not have the click requirement to see posts. :(
Could you e-mail me and tell me where you found your storage system? Is it rubbermaid drawers? Thank you so much.
Hi Rachael. I don't see your email address anywhere, so I'm sorry I couldn't email you.
The drawers I use for my cookie cutters are from Walmart. I don't know if they are rubbermaid or not. They are 3 drawer units and are about 14" x 14". I think they were meant for scrapbook paper.
