Petaled Flowers (Tutorial)

As promised.....

Flowers......
aren't they amazing!
I luv 'em!

So many colors.....
so many shapes, sizes, & amazing details.

There's lots of great flower cookie cutters out there.
But you don't even have to have a flower cutter
to do flowers.
I used plain & fluted round cutters
for some of these cookies
with one of my favorite cookie cutter sets.

For these cookies you'll need:
Outline with a #2 or #3 round tip.
Allow icing to dry for 20-30 minutes.

Flood within the outline with a #4 round tip.
Allow icing to dry for at least 30 minutes.

Add flower center and let dry for 10-20 minutes.
     Fill flower center.
     If you'd like.....you can add
    some petal embellishments.

    Nice and easy......
and so festive for the season. :)

    Happy happy spring!
