Continuing on the birthday theme.....
I did an 18th birthday collection a couple of weeks ago.
It's always fun to do a personalized set.....
but it also means that you come up with
a fairly eclectic assortment of cookies. :)
Here's part of the collection for Morgan's 18th birthday....
Morgan's favorite color is orange.....so you'll see a lot of that color :)
For a tutorial on making cupcakes like these, go HERE.
There's more!
I'll share the rest of the collection in a coming post. :)

Wow Pam I love the colors and what you did with the numbers. That is awesome and your awesome.
Fantastic cookies and quite bright and clean colors. They're beautiful
Ils sont vraiment trop mignons:) Quel talent vous avez!! Bravo:)xxx
...and Morgan LOVED them! Pam, your talent and desire to understand what would make her day special is amazing! Thanks!
I pretty much never use orange for cookies, but I think this set inspired me!
I'm thrilled she loved them, Michele. :) They were certainly made with love....
Kenni.....I never use orange either, except on autumn cookies. So this was a big change for me. The color orange was requested....so I decided to dive in and make a big spalsh. ;) I kinda like orange at the moment. :)
Cute! Btw thanks for setting up a mobile version of your posts! I'm always reading on my phone and this format is much more pleasurable!
Each one is soooo pretty!
Beautiful!
Hi Pam,
Love your tutorials and your designs. In fact, I am in the process of making glaze following your recipe, the ingredients are in the bowl. Just came in your site to check on something. When looking at your cookies, I don't know if it is my screen, or something, but the icing on the cupcakes and on the dresses look a bit strange to me. Sorry, it is that I am not used to seeing flawed icing on your creations. It must definitely be my screen. Just wanted to comment on that. Bless you.
They all look beautiful!
Thanks Shirley. I'm glad you like my tutorials and designs.
As for your comment about the "flawed icing".....very interesting. I guess "flawed" is a matter of opinion. On both the cupcakes and the dresses I added texture to make them look more real. Apparently, my 3D texturing attempt makes them look flawed....
Hi Pam, Sorry if my comment sounded a bit critical, I just wrote what I thought, no editing. No offense intended either. But I get it now. The thing is that you have us used to flawless decorations and, yes, it all depends from which angle you are seeing things. Nobody is perfect. I realize how much effort is involved in trying to make decorations look 3D while using glaze icing, and I appreciate the fact that you share your experience with us. Thanks again for posting.
No harm done, Shirley. Thanks for your input. :)
These are so pretty! I love the cupcakes!
Pam, these are awesome, well done. I bet Morgan was super happy with her cookies.
I especially love the shoes and the lipsticks. Was that red on the shoes and the lipstick red sanding sugar? I bought some green sanding sugar to use with more cookies I pan on baking and decorating - can't wait.
Thanks Lisa. The shoes and lipstick have disco dust on them. You can get it at Karen's Cookies: http://www.karenscookies.net/Disco-Dust-American-Red_p_1580.html
