Making a simple cookie of a golf ball sitting on a tee in the grass is fairly easy.
You start off with two basic shapes.
"Cut & Paste" as shown. ;)
Decorate as follows....
After short periods of drying time.....keep adding more grass until your happy with it.
And here's the finished cookies..........
We're back to wwww.......it's hard to say the word.....winter. :( It's cold and rainy with possible freezing temps these next few days. Enough is enough. Bring on spring with all it's green glory. :)

very cute and elegant
Love this idea! I love the "dimples" in your golf ball...I use buttercream, but I find it difficult knowing just the right time to do this to the cookie. Icing hard enough, but not too hard...you did it perfectly~
How did you get such perfect dimples without having the icing crack? So beautiful!
Thanks Liz (and everyone!).
I'm not sure how I got the timing so perfect on the dimples. I'd consider it God's blessing. :)
great job
I thoroughly enjoy your blog - thanks for sharing your passion with us! Love these cookies! I was wondering HOW you created the dimples on your cookies. Thanks in advance!
Thank you for your kind words. :) I made the dimples by letting the icing dry for a while and then poking holes in it with the end of a clean paint brush. :)
So creative! I just love your posts Pam! Thanks for sharing!
The end of a paintbrush - how creative!! Thank you for that great tip!
These cookies are adorable! And perfect for my son's golf party! How did you make the golf balls look textured?
Thanks Christina. Just allow the white glaze to dry for 30+ min and then use the end of a paintbrush or something similar to indent the slightly dried glaze. Have fun. :) ♥
I love these cookies!!!!!
I love these cookies! I was going to make them for an upcoming party, and I was wondering... how do you make the glaze? Is it just a simple powder sugar, corn syrup, vanilla extract, and water glaze? I was planning on making the cookies, letting the glaze set, and maybe pressing a lego onto them to make the little holes.
Thanks. All my recipes are on this site. Glaze recipe is here: http://www.cookiecrazie.com/2012/02/cookiecraziebasics-glaze-icing-recipe.html
