Incredible and I continue to remain clueless and baffled as to how you can add such detail with the glaze, I must have it too thin. Maybe I'm just counting to 10 too fast :)
These are wonderful. You really are talented. This is my first visit to your blog and I've spent some time browsing through your earlier posts. You've created a wonderful spot to visit and I'll definitely be back. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary
I use my cookies as "ornaments" all the time now since I have a cookie tree. Right now it has Valentines cookies on it. :)
I generally heat seal the cookie in a food safe bag.....punch two holes in the top and tie a ribbon circle so that I can hang them.
The cookies last a long time.....but they get hard and lose their shine....so they are not as pretty. I generally don't want to keep them on the tree (offering them to others) longer than 2 weeks. Not that they would be bad after that....just not as good of quality.
I've heard of people preserving cookies....but I don't know the details.
Laced and Lovely! Thanks for keeping it real and showing the bleed as well. If the lighter color was done first and allowed to dry, do you think the red bleed would occur? Or, have you tried that as well? I will live vicariously through your experience :-)
You make so many beautiful cookies it would be hard to pick one I like the best but the Love valentines one is probably my favorite. My email address is iluvtobake@charter.net

How do you make the glaze and can I order all the pink ones?
Also, don't think this weird, but, can a person keep these for awhile? What if you wanted to use them as Valentine "ornaments" instead of eating them?
Some of your Christmas ones I wanted to get and put on the tree. Can I do this? Anything to seal them with?
Annette
They are just beautiful. It's amazing that you can do such fine details with the glace. For me, no matter what i do, it's too runny when piping.
Thanks so much everyone.
Annette, my glaze recipe is under FAQ.
