So I promised to show you how I made the "Love" cookie that I displayed yesterday.

Callye (SweetSugarBelle) has taught me to think WAY OUTSIDE of the box. :)
Yesterday I received a very special gift from someone who wanted to support my Cookies With A Mission ministry.
A KopyKake projector! Wow. I still can't believe someone would be that generous.
And it is huge! Thankfully I have a kitchenette downstairs where I can store it on the counter. There is no way I could have it upstairs in my regular kitchen.
I'm expecting that the KK will allow me to do better perspective on those really hard shapes....and hopefully do better and more varied handwriting. We shall see......
How about some pink mod Valentine cookies......
Valentines Day is less than three weeks away. Hard to believe, huh?

I love them !!!
you make original design, i want all the cookies for me :)
Nice gift! =)
Pam, I had guessed that might be how you did them and so yesterday I tried when doing a batch of cookies. I'm still wondering though if you do anything to adhere the cookie pieces together or if they end up creating a strong bond during baking. Two of mine fell apart at the joints but I'm thinking maybe it was because they were still too warm when I moved them from the baking sheet. Yours look SO wonderful! Thank you for providing these tutorials and contests on your KK! I can't begin to imagine what you're going to come up with using it!
That was suppose to be CONGRATS on your KK. Apparently auto spellcheck had other ideas :)
Your cookies and your Cookies charity just BLOW MY MIND. You are blessing so many and now you are being blessed. I have never made decorated cookies before, but you inspire me to do so....time to shop for supplies!
This is a great post! Thanks so much for sharing. I'm starting to look at all my cookie cutters in new ways =) Your V-Day cookies are adorable.
Congrats! You and Callye keep blowing my mind with your talent on cookies!
Your tutorials have been very helpful. Thank you bunches! Drying time is everything I didn't do long enough at Halloween and Christmas!
WOW. What a gift!

Thank you so much everyone! You all are so kind. :)
Anita....you gotta push the dough together so they "stick" better when they bake. They will bake together.....but the closer they are, the better (without smashing the shape, of course).
Hey Callye.....I think you and I need to take a trip to Australia!!!! (Thanks Soph :))
Nice present! Awesome idea with combing the cutters, I'm totally going to try that this weekend on my new batch of cookies
WOW -- someone sent a KopyKake?! I can't wait to see what you can do with that! Your cookies are already fantastic!
Pam you're going to LOVE the Kopykake. It really helps me because I'm a decent piper but a terrible artist, and it makes writing so much easier. Congrats on your wonderful gift, your cookies are phenomenal even without it but I can't wait to see what you come up with using it!
I'm sure you are going to have a great time with your new KopyKat!
