A Little More Christmas

I'm still surrounded by cookies I need to decorate.....but I hope today that I'll get all of them done and can breathe a bit easier the rest of the week. Yesterday was one of those days where I had great intentions.....but my to-do list got longer instead of shorter. : /

Here's some more Christmas cookies I did last week..............

And a pic of the whole batch together......

It's lookin' a lot like Christmas, isn't it? Such a wonderful season. =)

I am dying to know about the carrot noses. Do you just pipe a dot and let it set for a couple minutes, then keeping coming back? Very nice!

WOWEEE!! My two college aged kids and I just finished decorating our sugar cookies for this Christmas. We used piping bags and YOUR icing recipe - since we LOVE the taste of our frosting (almond extract)I didn't want to go with RI. Had some issues with the consistency - too thick I guess but I was afraid to have it too runny.
Your cookies are gorgeous!!! Ours...not so much. ;) I did try some plaid stockings though. :D

Question - starting and stopping your lines at the edges of cookies, for instace in plaid, how do you not end up with a bump??
