Yesterday, I experimented with 15 different turkey designs in hopes of finding a few that I really want to make for all the Thanksgiving celebrations. I'm not sure I accomplished my task.....but there sure were lots of gobblers in my kitchen yesterday. lol
First my least favorite......I always feel like I've got to show the flops along with the ones I'm happy with. I tried to make pumpkin pies and they were a disaster. I was ashamed to show most of them (we ate them...lol), but I saved one so you could see my attempt. Ugh. The colors weren't right and every one thought I was making dull sunflowers. :(
As far as these turkeys go......the heart shapes behind the head weren't the best idea, and my son says that those with the blue color look like NBC peacocks. :((((((
I thought it would be fun to make turkeys the way every child has done it with their hand print.
And here's a repeat design from last year.
And the last two for today.....using leaves for feathers. Silly....but kind of cute. =)
Tomorrow I'll show you my faves. Gobble gobble......

También desde España sigo tus diseños realy realy crazy and nice. OLE!
En España el pavo -- TURKEY -- se come en Navidad, no en el día de Acción de Gracias. No lo tenemos como un icono. Pero saber lo importante que es para la cultura americana la celebración del día de Acción de Gracias, para mí ha sido SUPER!
LOVE and gratitude.
Love the little pie! I made a regular size pie cookie:)
