I just finished a graduation cookie order. Since I'm shipping these across the country.....I wanted to make grad caps that were less fragile than the typical ones with the tassel sticking out as an extra piece of cookie. Here's what I came up with....

And here's the personalized assortment.....including a clever idea from the graduate's mom to incorporate her son's love of fishing in some cookies. :)

A close up....

And then I worked on some more Father's Day assortments for boxed sets. Here's the baseball set.

And here's my favorite......the BBQ set. I had a BLAST doing these. :)))))))

I'll box these up tomorrow and share pics soon.

Thank God your son is healing as well as he is!I have had 2 sinus surgeries, and it isn't easy having things left in your nasal passages. Very happy for all of you Pam.
Now onto cookies....I love, love, love the Father's Day grill set! Fantastic!
omg I love them!!! They are great!! Thank you so much!! And I also love that BBQ set! It looks so real! You do such a great job!
And I'm glad to hear your son is doing so well! Time heals all :)
Pam, how do you ship your cookies? A friend asked me to make some for her I had to put them through the mail and just about half broke even with all of the bubble wrap I had in there. I'd appreciate any tips you'd like to share.
Mahalo!
Thank God Neil is doing well, Pam... I love your COOKIES...
Thanks everyone.
Amy, I can't wait for you to receive all your cookies. I just got them packed up and I will get them in the mail tomorrow morning. :) I added a few extra ones in just in case a few break. I'm praying they stay nice and intact. :)
Mahalo....the main trick to shipping is to fill in all the gaps with paper, bubble wrap, whatever. Don't allow the cookies to move at all. It's worked well for me so far.
SO great! I just ordered one of those grill cutters!
pam~your son looks so much better! i am glad he is on his way to a speedy recovery! i just can not believe your adorable cookies....i am afraid to ask you how long it takes you to decorate with all of your details....they are adorable! i found you thru karens cookies! thanks for the inspiration....i am in the learning process!!
Hi terrid614. Welcome to my blog. :) Yes, I do spend a lot of time decorating my cookies, but I think I'm getting faster with more practice.
Neil is doing fantastic. He really is back to normal except for one final surgery he'll need in September to open up a partial collapsed nasal passage (which the doctor says is very common in broken noses). I'm so thankful for his quick healing and recovery. :)

I love the change up on the grad cap. Nothing worse than a cookie with an appendage that tends to break off!
