New Spring Cutters.....and lots of practice on the old ones....

I've been practicing a lot this week. It's been fun.....but I think I've gone a bit overboard. I've just packaged up a 5-cookie bouquet and 86 individual cookies!!!! Oh my. PLUS, I'm sending 2 dozen cookies to a friend in Montana who ordered some for my Ukraine mission effort. That's a total of 115 cookies. (And that doesn't include the two bouquets and few dozen of cookies I made at the beginning of the week. My teens think I'm crazy. I'm going to have to find some balance, ya think?

Here's the two bouquets I made for an order on Wednesday.

A Easter Egg bouquet I put together for selling at Cookies With a Mission tomorrow.

I'm perfecting my dragonflies. They officially have two pairs of separate wings now (thanks to a little criticism I received).

Bunnies. :-) I love these little guys. I added "cotton" tails this time.

Easter Eggs....
I'm practicing my spring bunnies again. The thinner whiskers look much better.

More stitched flowers:

Chicks.....I don't like my fat funky cutter much, so I made a chick on top of the cookie the way *I* wanted it. lol

A close up of my favorite one :-)

I just got this snail cutter this week. I'm not super happy with these.....but it was only my first try. hee hee

Another new cutter.....catepillars. Do you like them better WITH stitches or without? I'm not sure......
Practicing butterflies.....

FINALLY I made a basket of flowers I'm pretty happy with. Hurray.

If you've stuck with me through all these photos, you are a true friend. ;-)
Have a great finish to this weekend.

Spring Cuties

I had my try at some spring lambs and bunnies. :-) I got all my ideas from the fabulous cookiers at www.cakecentral.com . You can be sure I'll be making lots more of these.....they are all fairly eaisy and super cute.

I'm off to decorate more cookies today. :-)))))))))

Cookies With A Mission :-)

Guess what? I'm going on a Christian mission trip to the Ukraine (possible two of them....one in July and then one in November)! I'm so excited and scared out of my wit all at the same time. :o)

Last week, I felt like God was opening up the door for me to sell my cookies for donations to the Ukraine mission trip effort. (We all have to come up with $1500 to $2000 for our flights and expenses.) This last Sunday, I had the opportunity to offer them at my church. As you can see, that is me at the "Cookies With A Mission" table in our church lobby. :-) I was able to sell several individually wrapped cookies and two of those bouquets and acquired $117 for the mission effort!!!! I was so excited that they went over so well.

Here's the three cookie bouquets I offered at the table:

I've also received several advanced orders for Easter, Mother's Day, etc. Things are going to be hoppin' around here. :-))))) I'll get lots of good practice in these coming weeks.
If anyone is interested in purchasing my cookies with all proceeds going to the Ukraine mission effort, send me an email and we'll talk. (psneed71@gmail.com)

More Spring Cookies :-)

I've had another fun Friday decorating spring cookies. Many of these are "repeats", but I thought you might like to see how I changed things up a bit.

Spring scenes:

My favorite basket.....I finally got a decent brown:

My new 49 cent butterfly cutter from Hobby Lobby the other day allowed me to create these cute little Bflies:

More dragonflies:

More fun stitched cookies:

And even MORE colorful ladies. Look I even made a ladybug flower with all of them gathered in a circle. hee hee......

Tomorrow I hope to get some pics of the new project I've started that I'm so excited about. Stay tuned.

My Second Cookie Bouquet

We have new neighbors across the street, so I took some of thsoe flowers and bugs I made earlier this week and put together a bouquet It turned out very colorful. :-)

I hope to make many more bouquets now that I know how simple it is to attach the stick to the outside of the bag (instead of the cookie) and then place the cookie in the bag, tie the ribbon around both the stick and the bag....and whatdoyouknow.....you have a cookie on a stick without all the fuss. :-)

Bugs N Flowers

Can you believe it.....two posts in one day? Of course the previous one was not pics of my cookies but rather my workspace.

As you can see I've been busy decorating cookies and taking pictures again. I love taking pics with all these colors involved. The flowers (and bugs, this time) are so photogenic. ;-)

I hope you don't get tired of these daisy-like flowers. This is the third batch I've made.....and I just keep taking more and more pics. lol I can't get enough of their pretty colors and "happy" disposition. :-)

These next flowers are similar to something I did a few weeks ago.....but I'm just perfecting the design. Pastels are so beautiful!!!!!

I tried a new flower design on the fluted square. The inspiration came from TracyLH on www.cakecentral.com. I need to practice on this one.....they are pretty sloppy. : /

I went a little "buggy" this time. I launched out from flowers and did some dragonflies and lady bugs. They make me smile. :-)

This cheery pink one is my favorite.

Hee, hee, hee......look at all of them lined up looking at us. :-)
Next are the ladies......I was going to do traditional red and black and decided to save that for summer. Here are some spring-y lady bugs.

I hope I didn't wear you out with all my pics. I go a little crazy with the camera. Funny thing is....I'm only showing you a tiny fraction of pics compared to the number I take.
I hope to try again at the end of the week, so stay tuned.
