I hope to make many more bouquets now that I know how simple it is to attach the stick to the outside of the bag (instead of the cookie) and then place the cookie in the bag, tie the ribbon around both the stick and the bag....and whatdoyouknow.....you have a cookie on a stick without all the fuss. :-)

Your new neighbors are lucky to have you across the street, Pam! I make COOKIE bouquets as you do... the idea came when a customer ordered favor COOKIES and changed her mind the day BEFORE the order was due... thanks God my brain worked on the solution and she was happy with ther COOKIE Lollies... now I do that all the time... it saves space in the oven and broken COOKIES...
Adorable! How do you attach to the bag instead of the cookie? I have never done them that way before and would love to know how you did it!
Thanks Bea....and I totally agree with you. Attaching the stick to the bag is a God send. You decorate your cookies with ease and then you can decide to put them in a bouquet at the last minute. How cool is that?!
Kris....Lay your bag down (open side towards you) and place a stick down the middle of the bag. Apply clear packing tape (the 1 1/2" thick kind) across the top and then down the middle. Be careful not to go too far down because it will interfere with the ribbon. Place your cookie in the bag. Tie your ribbon around the stick and bag to seal up your cookie tight against the bag and stick. Make sense?
Thanks soooooo much for the information. I would have never thought about attaching the stick to the bag.
Boy......wish I was your neighbor.
Tasha,
I'm glad to share. Someone on www.cakecentral.com shared it with me. I'm so excited because I can make bouquets so much easier now. Have fun!
Well, I am trying to visualize it, but I think I will just have to do it, and then go from there.
Thanks So much.
