Neighborhood Block Party

Today we are having a neighborhood block party. We just moved into this neighborhood in June, so I'm excited about meeting all our new neighbors. The subdivision is only about 2 years old, so everyone is kind of starting anew with these relationships, so it is pretty exciting.

Here's the house cookies I made for the event. I made "boy" & "girl" cookies. I figured the guys wouldn't enjoy a frilly purple, pink, or teal cookie as much as a "manly" cookie. lol

I've never outlined with black. It was daunting at first, but I'm pretty happy with how these turned out. :-)

Women's Retreat Cookies

Wow.....it's been too long since I've posted a blog. I haven't had time to decorate cookies since July, but this week I'm making two different sets for two different events. Yesterday I decorated cookies for our church's annual women's retreat. We decided to go with a "girlie" theme since ladies just like to be pampered. :-) Here's what I came up with. Fun fun stuff.
