I've never done cookies for a birthday, but decided to try some this week for my sister's 60th birthday. Another sister is in town this week after our nephew got married last week, so she was here to try the "decorating experience". My daughter Allison also helped.....so most of the cookies were not decorated by me.....but it was fun to find out what could be done with birthday hats, presents, and princess crowns. :-)

do you cut them by hand or do you have a shape cutter?
the shapes are always so nice but here in italy is so hard to find particoular shapes has gifts, crowns...
now is too hot here to bake things but this winter i'll give many tries copying your cookies! :D
